This training shows you the power of a digital video camera when paired up with the Mac's included iMovie software.

Learn to:

• Import video from your firewire-equipped digital video camera (MiniDV or HDV) for editing
• Import video from older VHS or Mini8/Hi8/Super8 formats
• Sort through all of the potential video for a project, and eliminate video that is of poor quality or unsuitable for the finished movie
• Line up your video clips in any order, regardless of where the clip was on the original tape
• Mix several tapes and sources (for example, one full movie of "This Decade's Vacations")
• Add music and photos
• Add titles, credits, subtitles, transitions, and special effects
  
• Create a beautiful final project complete with titles and animation
• Share your project
• Place video on a website
• Burn to DVD complete with chapters and a DVD menu for viewing on any television-set based DVD player
  
• Burn to CD for promotional or business use (kiosk, etc.)
